DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.C.A., M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.C.A., M.C.M., XI, XII - (Information Technology for Science and Commerce), courses are currently running under Computer Stream. In the academic year 2008-09 the admission status was :

COMPUTER RESOURCES AND LABORATORY :

The Five Computer Laboratories are well equipped with the latest Pentium V. The Labs have sufficient nodes (135) with Server-Client Technology, two Unix Server, Linux dual boot. It has a fast Ethernet network and Windows NT & Novell NetWare as the operating system. It has a wide access to a range of databases, word processors and latest Graphics packages and all programming languages.
The Broadband Multi-user Internet Connectivity is connected with all machines for each and every student.
Department has l Audio Visual and Teaching Aids l LCD projector, scanner, Web technology, Multimedia l 25 KVA Inverter UPS (Heavy Duty)

Total - 31 M.Sc. Computer and MCA students place in different IT industry in year 2008-09 (Industries are - MKCL, Cotmac, TCS, Abhinav, Ess Design, Global It, Teem Tech, Business Logic, Sparks Software, HCL, Wipro, Matrix Solutions, BSNL etc.)
IT Companies visit to college : WIPRO, SQTL, MATRIX
RESULT : BCS - 83%, MCS - 86%, MCM - 63%, MCA - 91%

ELECTRONIC LABORATORY :

The Electronic Lab is well equipped with the Electronic Kits, Computer Troubleshooting, processors, Chips etc.

STATS/MATHS LABORATORY :

The Stats/Maths Lab is well equipped with the 12 bit memory calculators, log & stat tables facilities are also available.
